Work with installers
Congratulations, now you are ready to move on and hire a professional installer. Make sure plan ahead in the earliest stage, ask for referrals from friends and colleagues or through Yelp and similar reviewing sites. Trust me it take longer than you think for installers nowadays to confirm the schedule, simply because "Either they are very good and very busy or they are not so busy and because...ah...."
There are some questions you shall always ask when interviewing an installer,
1. What is the crew size per job?
2. Are they hiring any sub-contractor?
3. What is their process for the project
4. Are they licensed contractor or handyman?
5. Are they fully insured?
Once the installer is selected, arrange three party meetings among the installer, designer and you and make proper communication to ensure everyone is on the same page in terms of project scopes, timelines, date, responsibilities and all the data.
